Agree with the airstreams being cold, nonetheless have quite enjoyed wearing them. I have now just purchased the arbortec scafell xer.. On day one I wanted to cry, they felt like vices. After loosening the laces and wearing them even to the shops just to break them in, I am now very happy. They are awesome. Honestly. Pricey but awesome... So far! Only had them a week so who knows what the future holds!

Ive got a long second toe,its longer than my big toe and meindl's are one of the few boots that dont rub my toe into a blister.Had the haix gortex boots before, good groundie boots but a bitch to climb in,just too bulky.

Ive no complaints with airstreams but theyre not the warmest in the cold.

Same here with the toe thing .....:001_smile:

I have had my prabos boots for over six months now. They are lasting well so far and they are very comfy. But not being gortex lined do let the water in if it rains all day ( which doesn't often happen in Wiltshire). But for £100 I am happy with then
