I've been using the stein but they have a tendency to really blow round in the wind when cutting if you understand what I mean been looking at the teufelberger 1 is it worth the money an 2 what are people's views on them all other alternative s considered :biggrin: FiRE AWAY :laugh1:

a good thick chain should stop it blowin in the wind...

 

seriously, its a piece of rope, its gonna blow about in the wind is it not?.. Stein or otherwise...

The teufelberger is bungee I thought ? it's nice and well thought out but does not take the shock out if you have to drop the saw quick like the stein bungee does ,which is why I would choose the stein if running a husky 540 because of the rear AV damage risk.

I'm pleased with mine and the extra reach is handy when your really stretching. It's a bit weird how far it stretches when you drop the saw though

Looks really nice, but thats the one thing putting me off. Wish they did a slightly shorter version. I have my saw hanging as often as I have it stowed.
