ATS Machinery is selling the little Echo with 10" Sugihara bar and skinny chain for £319.

Brilliant.

Never heard of them so just had a look at their site to see if the saw was on there... It's a bit 1990's!ImageUploadedByArbtalk1463773651.220164.jpg.2b65edcc58faaf197fd88de1403ed4a1.jpg

Not so far as I know. Problem is, apparently the new Sugi bar won't take the Stihl chain, and vice versa.

Apparently all Echo saws are now coming with Sugihara bars. They just have Echo printed on the sides instead of Sugihara.

I thought they always had been sugihara bars?

Not all of them. The 2510 is a Tsumara bar as standard.

I'm talking about the 0.043" bars as per the 150

Hi mate,

As long as the 2510 is running a 1/4" sprocket and not the 3/8" then the Stihl 0.043 (MS150) bar will be a straight fit. The 10" Stihl bar requires 1 extra DL, I don't know about the 12" bar though.

Turns out my Echo turned up with the 12" 3/8 bar. My local Stihl dealer is sorting the 1/4" sprocket, 12" bar and chain so hopefully that'll be sorted soon. Spark arrester still to be removed but still an impressive little saw.

Don't know Joe. The dealer told me that they are Sugihara bars with echo name on.

I don't give a sh!t so long as it cuts well.
