For what it's worth I think it's the drum type chippers that will pull a rope in like that, our fly wheel types are much less likely to wind the rope up... If that makes sense.

Its when the rope wraps round the flywheel thst it goes quick.

Different guy. this was 2014 He climbed into the chipper to unjam it, Thinking it was switched off. It wasnt .
