Log seasoning and storage what to do

I've got a field of two acres and trying to decided how will be best to season my split logs? Im pretty handy can make something out of metal or wood framed any advice would be great please

Well, how many logs are you trying to fit into two acres?

Instead of spreading them over 2 acres pile them up into less than a quarter of one acre and then put a cover over them.

You could put a cover over them when spread over two acres but a quarter acre cover is easier to manage.

Just as important to get them up off the two acres as well in a bit of air flow underneath them kind of way.

It all depends on the amount of logs and how much you want to invest. It ranges from putting pallets down, covering them in 2ft of logs and putting a tarpaulin over to filling ibcs/potato boxes to building a shed and a kiln.

Don't wanna just bang them on panels either

 

About 50-100 ibc cages

 

Wouldn't a poly tunnel not stop air flow to season them?

So do I stack the logs inside the poly tunnel then bag up when seasoned or put in ibc crates that the best method?
