Chipper question

Anyone put a caravan motor mover on a road tow chipper before? Is it possible?

I was thinking of similar but using hydraulics instead of electric, maybe fashion something out of parts from the tracked version!?

often thought about this myself, usually when pushing it up a sloping drive or getting it up ramps into shed.

have a front tow hitch for these purposes but it would be a damn sight easier with electric motors fitted!

The main reason I need one is for putting it away at night. Tight lane with boggy ground each side the van keeps getting stuck. Car can do it fine but it's a fad swapping daily. Just thought it would be easier to move itself. Also would be handy on tight driveways etc

Don't know if it would be suitable but there are powered jockey wheels which look pretty simple to fit

It has been done a few times.You could it using your chippers hydraulic flow, a pair of motors on swing away brackets and a couple of valves. Or find an easier yard!

You might need to check the battery. All that is required on a chipper battery is to start, if you start using it to shift it with motormover it could drain it quicker
