13 tonne of Larch ( dry) in 4 hours, team of four of us on it. I'm knackered now

Are you chainsawing and splitting that or using a processor?

 

I'm feeling pretty good today, between the 2 of us we processed 30 cube/17 tons of 12 inch and it only took 7 hours including moving everything.

 

Just got to hope it dries now, it was very wet oak.

Did probably around 10 cube of split logs, cut to 8"length in 3hrs with my dalen 2054, was a mix of pine, poplar, cherry, apple, ash and abit of sycamore. Very very windy so even with chainsaw hat on with viser down, saw dust kept getting in me mince pies which was irritating, and got absolutely soaked

10 cube is good going, especially with short stuff. Luckily we're undercover but my eyes are sore to, doesn't matter where you hide a sudden gust always gives you a face full of dust.

Your telling me, my eyes still feel abit sore now, only finnished logging 3hours ago!

Probably be a few trees down with this aswell, especially with the soden ground aswell

Processor for most of it, one person loading, one on the processor and two stacking. You did well with 17 tonnes in 7 hours.

New to this site not worked out how to put a picture up but wev got a nice peice of yew about 9ft long and 2ft in diameter were not overly bothered about the money but would like to see someone put good use of it rather than it going on the fire, any help?
