Been VERY unlucky we're guessing. Don't think they've came from anywhere there's been hedging / fencing...

 

And I don't know if you can see properly, but in one of the photos, the nails are the really old square type.

 

Asked about them, and people have said they're from a long, LONG time ago, they were in the centres of the rings, which were easily 18/20 inches across - so what's the estimate of their ages???
