Arrived at yard this morning ( I am subby ) to find the guy I am to work for looking rather upset .... all saws 5-6 stihl ms 441 , 461 and 660 among them and an old stihl lightning , and a load of power tools taken in an overnight raid , It makes me wonder who will buy large saws ? it is not a typical householder domestic wood cutter etc ........ also unconfirmed reports of another contractor nearby also losing gear .not a nice way to start the day... I was the only one with a saw on site so had to take great care not to get it stuck !!

Theres been a few around here at bridford so close to tcd and a few miles away culver sawmill.

Luckily after being broke into approx. 3 mths ago the sawmill installed a camera system. Got the 3 crims on camera and names have been given to police so maybe that may put a stop to a few of them around here... Seeing the pics 1 is clear enough for a prosecution having a full mugshot.
