Great pics and a nice job. It looks like your first cut there in the 3rd pic are you running down a jig attached to the work horses?

Thanks :001_smile: the I beam is there purely as a bench to set the logs at a comfortable work height, we use a couple of fence post cuttings to wedge the narrow end in place. For the first cut we use a 4m length of C channel steel to run the mill guides to run along. If we are in a hurry we do the first cut freehand with my 555

 

Job done now and the cats are in the enclosure :thumbup:
