+/- 50% of the documents required (looks to me) like the ones you are required to supply at the application stage. What a crock!

RHI recipient here using a 40KW log boiler.

 

I don't understand why wood suppliers are on the BSL for selling logs as what I've learnt from the few suppliers there are in Lincolnshire is that they sell bugger all to RHI customers. They were expecting a huge increase in sales but it's been very quiet with most counting the RHI\BSL cubes sold on one hand literally.

 

I've bought in 45 cubes as a stop gap but thereafter I plan on processing my own wood once I'm BSL registered as a Producer\Trader to supply just myself. I can't imagine there would be a great number of domestic log boilers on RHI and those that have probably have their own woodland.

 

Pellets looks like a different story mind.

I have made only one RHI sale since it started and that was a 'get you going kit' for someone who thereafter would self supply.

 

We have some sizeable RHI installations as neighbours and I watch with interest how much chewed up blue pallet comes with every delivery of chip from our national treasure transport company. I wonder when they will get audited?

Done nearly 100 cubic metres to RHI customers year to date. You only need a few customers doing 20/30 cube a year and it adds up. Another guy contacted us yesterday for a drop of 15 cube to start so it's going well for us

Seems pretty straight forward:-

 

To "deem sustainable” arboricultural residues under the Timber Standard for the RO and RHI, and in the forthcoming CfDs.

And they do not exclude diseased and windblown, so all timber from arb work is fine
