I have run the RBC model 30c version for yrs. Quality strimmer

The MM4 engines I can't find much feedback on them or  reviews of them from longer term users.

Like the "eco" idea of the 4 stroke  of the mm4 makita long reach hegde trimmers,  less exhaust fumes, but thinking 4 stroke still means heavier & less power compared to others?

There  cheaper than echo stihl etc though....

Theyve been using that mm4 engine in the blowers , brushcutters , polesaw , long reach hedge trimmer , one concrete cutter some of the models are true 360 degree use engines  they aren’t that much heavier it’s a neat design on the brushcutters

I’ve put a screenshot of the 43cc 4 stroke brushcutter below

Have they done something about the filter cover that pops off every time you look at it funny?

I think that has been sorted been using the makita RBC most of the day and the air filter all intact

Have you ever used the rbc hegde trimmer attachment?

Makita A-89523

Will it fit a rbc3101? also not sure about using a hegde trimmer with bullhorn handles?
