7.5t Trucks...

Hi everyone,

Im just looking for a little information on 7.5t trucks.

Something like a daf or iveco cargo

Im wondering how wide these vehicles are?

What sort of size beds are on these? so i can calculate for a chip box etc?

Also what sort of mpg these kind of trucks get.... im not daft and expect super fuel consumption, just after some realistic figures that i can base a decision round.

What sort of running costs do people have with these trucks?

like price of vehicle checks? how much mot's are? and tax etc?

Not bothered about going into licenses or tacho or cpc on here please just pure facts :)

Cheers

Can't really give any of the details that you're after, but I have driven both the cargo and leyland roadrunner, and I would opt for the roadrunner every time. Its a nicer drive IMO. The Cargo feels like a massive lump in comparison.

Good trucks  I drove one as a yoooof delivering pianos.

Watching this with interest, been wondering about up grading our 3.5t canter which is down rated from 5.5t and does mid 20s/gal towing a first st6 and regularly not wanting to see a weigh bridge to a heavier truck that need not be so shy of being weighed:laugh1:
