Plus sell getting the stumps ground out along with the big ones on the lawn.

Fwiw, 2 guys, 1x6 inch chipper, 1 day easy, it's castlewellyn which tend to have smaller stems (easy chipping) 2 maybe 3 transit loads of chip.

A grand would be very easy money for that.

At a guess 12 cubic metres.

 

Yup, One 3.5t tipper and one tipping trailer both 'slightly' over weight.

I tip my conifer at a local farm for bedding if no-one takes up the Free Ads I punt out.

 

Wood fairies can have the logs...

So what are we all saying that is going to come out in chip, M3 wise?

 

On larger trees with long skinny branches, we separate off the wood from the green ends and chip that for later re-sale as 'plaquettes' at 30euros per M3

Are the pictures each side or two seperate ends ? If it's the former I'd say it's more like a mornings work. Chip may be getting on towards 15-20M3 as all the stems fill the truck pretty quickly
