From memory there is an sc600 and sc700. The two sizes being the blade diameter is mm. Go for the bigger. Not a lot more money.

We now offer a 750mm version too with a 13" cutting capacity.

600mm in a 240V electric version, and 700/750mm in a PTO, petrol or 3 phase electric version. Also with conveyor options on most.

Has anyone got/used one of the petrol powered circular saw benches? (haven't got a tractor/pto)

I wonder how easy they are to drag around?

The petrol model weighs about 200kg, so its no leightweight. Comes with fairly large wheels and handles. They are easy enough to move about on hard surfaces (and I'm no giant) but offroad ideally you'd need a second person to help though it is ok if the ground is solid.

What's the cost of the petrol one in the picture please? Thanks ( tried phoning but no joy! )

Hi yes I'd be interested to know the price of the petrol Balfor, and what engine is on it (kohler?) and what's the fuel consumption like?

Correct me if i am wrong but the design on the balfour one looks like you would physically have to hold the log while it gets cut, compared to the oxdale which has a wide deep u shaped bench to hold the log! mine will be used by employees so also has to be safe as can be.

Even with a design like the oxdale one, (looks very similar to the Rosselli ones), I don't think you'd get away with just sitting the piece of timber in there under it's own weight once it gets short or is small diameter without having odd ones snatch or spin.
