. i do not agree with this practice one bit, but what will the fine be?if any. even if it is a few grand and a replacement tree, the guy with the 400k penthouse isnt going to loose any sleep over it, and if there is a replacement tree, then a slip with a set of b+q loppers will sort that out aswell

400k would probably barely buy the boat shed at the end of the garden Stevie.

Whose LB is this in Sean?

Richmond?

that just reinforces my view even more, i dont mean this is the councils fault, i didnt mean for it to sound like that, but every bit of posh vandalism i have ever come across always ends up with the rich guy winning:thumbdown:and i have nothing against rich folk either:001_smile:except when they do this

Looks like near the river at Sheperton to me, I'd have stacked all the waste in the garden for a week 'until my chipper was fixed' ;-) What an idiot.

Likely the same fate would happen to the next tree...

Yep. An expensive hobby though with a heavy standard going in each time - and one I'd gladly help him enjoy for eternity with a smug grin on my face each time we served the replacement notice.

About

Arbtalk.co.uk is a hub for the arboriculture industry in the UK.
If you're just starting out and you need business, equipment, tech or training support you're in the right place.  If you've done it, made it, got a van load of oily t-shirts and have decided to give something back by sharing your knowledge or wisdom,  then you're welcome too.
If you would like to contribute to making this industry more effective and safe then welcome.
Just like a living tree, it'll always be a work in progress.
Please have a look around, sign up, share and contribute the best you have.

See you inside.
