Your setup always improving Beau :thumbup1:

Remember you speaking of the timber trailer before. What does it handle well with your tractor - 3 tons loads?

Always liked the idea of a timber trailer with grab, particularly for use in the yard, loading processor etc. Does the grab work well for logging up oversize with a chainsaw?

Don't know for sure what the trailer holds. Spec'd at 6 tonnes but know idea how you could get that kind of weight on it. Recon with 8' lengths of nice straight stuff 2-2 1/2 tonne and if twisty less. Not sure what the trailer and crane weighs but must be another tonne. The tractor pulls it easily but it's very easy hall of a few hundred meters on a shallow slope. It's made my life so much easier as had to process in the field by the stack but can now set up back in the yard with the processor undercover and set the wood up on a log deck. Yes you can ring up oversize easily too. Just suspend lump over flat trailer and ring away. Then slide rings off trailer onto splitter without lifting.

Just bought some led lights for the front and a pair of orange led beacons for the back but need to get my finger out as might be gritting at the end of the week

Hi Guss, thats a brilliant little set up. Is yours road legal, if so how easy is it to get them old kubotas up to road legal standard.

I don't think it is but it does have lights and indicators fitted to it so guessing it wouldn't take to much work. I just shift it on the trailer normally unless we're gritting a few places near to each other. Think I've got a drop spreader this year to for the gritting 👍

Cheers I don't think it's to far off now as it's getting cold. Hopefully the snow holds of as that way I'm just out in the navara with the snowex on the back and I get to keep warm lol

My 6200 Kubota is road registered from new, I just filled in the reg form with the serial number, proof of purchase and year then sent the whole lot off to DVLA. Got the logbook back after about two weeks, if you cant prove year it ends up on a Q like an old massey I have.
