Ah. No problem, I was only thinking nowadays its all fuss paperwork red tape then send someone else in to finish it off. I was thinking the same thing from a different angle.

RobertT a member on here from Stirling has trimmed it before. Pretty sure they did it with a colossal MEWP and hand shears.

Here's a couple of pics from yesterday. The inside is quite surreal.

I drove past it last week while taking a detour through the Cairngorms for a change from the A9.  It is something else; as Julian says it's surreal.  

And the detour was so worth it; what a drive up to Glenshee, Lecht and then back to Inverness via Tomintoul.

 

Stopping for a panini and coffee along the way of course
