There have always been thefts, the only thing that has changed is the reporting, back in the pre internet days when someone got cleaned out word found its way through the grapevine over days and weeks. Now we find out about the minutia of each event while the scrote is still running from the deed

Sorry Steve, I think it's a continual problem. The fact that it doesn't get reported here doesn't mean it's not happening. I know of a local lad who lost all his saws a eek back, but as far as I know he isn't a member here.

Absolutely, i meant as far as them being reported, they seem to come in waves. I remember a couple years ago there was a 2 week period where there were 2-3 reported a day, some big hits too. That was the same time I decided to go ahead with Arbsafe
