My husky combi is about 4 months old and the fuel spout has been sticking for about 2 months. Either modern forecourt fuel has become much more corrosive to rubber or the rubber used is inferior.

Anything coming into contact with oil or fuel should be something suitable like Viton.

Any recommendations for what to use for echo saws where the filler holes are too small to fit the stihl spouts. I was going to buy the new husky one but probably not now after reading this thread.

If you get 1 of the auto oil filled tops for the fuel side that should fit the smaller hole as that's what I did when I got the 540xp as that too has a small filler hole.

I bought one the other day becuase the music in my head told me too , I dont see what all the fuss and hype is about. I cant see any benefits to it over a £10 cheapy other than you can keep a few bits in the box. You cant see at a glance whats in the thing and I dont suppose it will last any longer when it gets run over or mulched. I had a good look at the spout re jamming, I can only think crud is getting in the slider part of it. I tried to pull the spout apart but it felt like it was going to break .
