there is probably a law about this somewhere, but it all depends on the working relationship and sort it out beforehand. i have paid guys full days wages and sent them home at 11 am because the job has done, given them vehicles and kit to borrow, thinking if i sort them out they will look after me. but they through it back in my face, i would sort it out first. stick it in writing and shake hands on it.

 

Yep!! I've had that one!!!:angry: You treat them well and try to be nice and they start to think they are great and you REALLY, REALLY need them and treat YOU like crap!!:thumbdown:

I used to work with a bloke who always used to go on about ur skin being waterproof! :biggrin:

 

He would sometimes carry on working in his vest when it was pouring down. Think he was trying to prove a point you know?. . . :lol:

I think he proved his point, he was a real man. :lol: No such thing as bad weather, just bad clothing.
