I paid roughly £1650 (inc Vat and delivery) for the x2500 drive unit and also a 6inch and 12inch auger with tungsten carbide tips. Really brilliant well made kit from Augertorque- would work well on a 2.5tonner etc

have the same including the grinder. It literally chews the stump to bits nice and slowly so safe and easily controllable.

Tried one on my loader didn’t wasn’t impressed not enough push down far quicker with grinder was difficult to get whole stump kept slipping of

When I bore holes on hard ground I add tractor weights to auger frame to get more down force so would do the same.

I can't see the blades staying sharp for too long once they hit the dirt, and they would need to be very sharp to cut cross-grain as they do? Also relies on being able to get a mini digger in which is not always possible and tracked machines aren't exactly lawn friendly!

Stump grinders go blunt when you hit dirt, and aren't a lot of grinders on tracks.

My auger will bore through Tarmac I just found the lack of control and vision plus the amount of weight required meant that a dedicated grinder was far better. avant and some others used to do a stump grinder with its own engine for the front a better idea for a low powered loader
