After a new lowering bollard

Looking for a new lowering bollard, currently use a stein rc2000 its good but looking for a fixed bollard

 

Been looking at the stein rc2001 and just spotted the tree hog? That skyland sell

 

The tree hog only 1500kg and stein is 2000kg

 

Fr jones, why no avaliability till mid oct?

If the rigging equation is right a 400kg lump free falling 5 feet would be on the 2T SWL.

5 feet is a lot of slack, but would be interesting to see a vid where the makers are deliberately trying to test a bollard to destruction.

Stein 2001 here. Does what it says on the tin. Best thing about the fixed bollards is you can throw an absolute beginner groundie on them with reasonable confidence.

Yup, its a pain in the arse watching the groundies remember where to run the rope each time they try to attatch to a moving bollard. Makes me wonder how people learnt to tie their boots in a morning!

Go for the 3001, we have given it lots of use with some big timber and apart from 1 bent pin and a bust strap handle both from direct hits from the last bit before felling it's survived everything unscathed.

I should have gone for the 3000 before they stopped doing it! The new ones gone up 70 quid from 350 to 420 now i think!
