Had an interestign chat with a trainign provider the other day, which got me thinking.

As I'm trying to move my career over to arb, I'm puttign myself on or through training. Currently waiting to get on my C30 and 31. I'm waiting for the learning agreement from Capel for the online RFS level 2.

What else would you want, bearing in mind I don't have a lot of experience.

If someone turned up asking for work experience / becoming a trainee / groundie job what would you want?

C30/31 is prettyy much a given.

C38?

Chipper?

Grinder?

ISO 3103?

?

If you don't already have one, get yourself a driving licence that will allow you to tow a chipper (larger than a pencil sharpener)

A CSCS card will make you more useful, you cant get on a construction site without one

All else should follow from there

I can drive 7500kg or tow 3500kg with 3500kg

Although you should see me reverse a trailer

How do you get a CSCS card, haven't here been loads of threads about needing a special CSCS for arb?

Just google CSCS card

I have yet to be asked for anything other than an operative card
