Is the difference between the 5 and 10 only 2 hours duration and 450m range or is there something else? For £200 inc vat I can kit out two of us with the 5's.

2nd day with the coms, again I was on the ground for the mostpart and directing staff what needed to be pruned of on a sensitive little job, the lack of shouting to communicate definitely made things with this client a lot less stressful. Went for a good walk to try them over a bit of distance and at a good 500m still crystal clear. Really happy with them. Now all I need to find is a triple USB port plug to simultaneously charge all 3 over night.

Only question I haven't found covered on their website - does the climber/ other listeners get a lot of chipper noise coming from the groundy's microphone when feeding the machine or is the voice activation clever enough to only start transmitting when it hears a voice? I suppose the same is true with the climber's saw.

Sadly you can still hear the chipper and saws being used by someone. Its not that bad as you can still hear the voice over the surround noise. If you are wanting noise cancelation like what peltor and msa offer, you will be looking at alot more money per headset. One issue i knoticed today from a climbers point of view, it is easy to nock the button on the side and change channels
