How much does your 300tdi lr cost per year to keep on road

I think you will spend a lot less on servicing a Landy long term if you keep away from the cheapy aftermarket stuff. The original UJ`s in one of the Disco Vans had covered 125,000 before they needed to be changed, I replaced them with those Britpart ones and they were shot within 10,000 miles. The smug smile the savings put on you face come back and bit you, same for bushes, bearings, brake pads, discs and seals.

Hi BOB was that a TD5 disco van UJ ON I fitted Delphi ball joints and they've lasted over a year in and out the woods been brilliant thanks John

No its a 300tdi Disco van John, I think the Delphi stuff is ok.The price tells you what its all about really.

I refuse to take them from our local indie landy parts place, they must survive on people not being bothered to return stuff under warranty.

Hi kieth your right there mate about them parts I think if my Land Rover only cost £500 a year between MOT on average is cheap thanks Jon

last couple of yrs me 90 has,nt cost me out, bar the running costs.

 

this October she will prob cost around £300 on various bits and pieces that need doing.

 

and prob 4 days off work to do the jobs, but if I take it to a garage to do the work, I cant go work, so works out cheaper to do it meself, plus I know its done properly.

 

that's a 200tdi
