My 15 year old leather lined Chameau wellies have a split along the seam above the heel.

I've tried gluing it with various products without success, as it opens up when I walk.

Any suggestions?

I don't particularly want to lash out £300 on a new pair.

You're right Mick, I'm probably best off finding some old school guy and telling him to give it his best shot.

If it works it works, if it doesn't it doesn't.

I wouldn't hold him to it.
