Come on then, lets have your times for the climb comp.

First attempt times as well lads, non of this practicing stuff.

5.53

Not bad for a 16st 45 year old that dropped through a fork and had to go back up through it  and lost five seconds for not hitting the landing zone

Well chuffed for you Dean, good fun comp. Credit to Mark for his climb too, going by the state of him in the evening it was a miracle he could even find his way into his harness:001_tongue: Well done everyone who took part:001_smile:

well running about a tree was even stranger than i imagined,7min 43 secs. i could make up loads of excuses but why bother, really glad i tried it, it isnt easy infront of a crowd and i was really out my comfort zone, but it was a great feeling honking the big horn and getting a round of applause and a few cheers. thanks again nick:001_cool:

Yes I felt for Mark, his friction knot was slipping as well.

Even with his hangover he had everyone laughing, nice one mark

Stevie, more or less got out of the car, went to the tree climb and climbed the tree without seeing others doing it or knowing where the targets werewhich I thought was a good time considering you went in blind !!

really did'nt like the idea of climbing in front of a crowd but eventually gave in to peer pressure, guess what i had a great time!(not my climbing time). A mixture of encouragement and sarcasm made for good atmosphere. I finished up with 5.33. Is any one going to post the results table would love to know where i came over all. ps Richard and i spent all afternoon reviewing our climbs to see where we could shave those vital off . . .
