Customer mishaps!!

Oh dear! Today we had a large job on so there were 5 of us to make sure it got done.. The customer came home towards the end of the day and let's just say she was a sandwich short of a picnic... She danced her way over to us and offered us drinks. Sceptically we obliged and asked for tea; apart from Keith. He asked for coffee. What did he get? Bloody gravy!! Ahahaha. Quality.

A lad from work and myself were working in an old couples garden a while back and old Doris bought us out no less than 25 cups of tea!! She had alzheimers, bless her, and her husband told us he would rather she was occupied through the day than try to stop her. Very nicely made it was, too.

We were offered tea and biscuits on a job and they were duly brought out. We never had the mugs in our hands for more than two seconds when the handles fell off the lot of them and smashed on the floor. The cheap skate Mrs Miggings had glued them back on just to keep back for the oiks like us .

I don't do much domestic work but, when I do, if it's a dry house, I have no shame in asking if the kettle has broke down.

Not a mis-hap by the customer but a mis-hap by the DNA helix.

We were working at a block of flats in Worthing whan a couple of folks came out, they had big fluffy puppets on their arms (about the size of Orville) and they asked us (via the puppets) if we would like a cup of tea.

 

Mind you they did make nice tea.

In your line of work surely it would be more appropriate to ask if the kettles 'blocked'

Two blokes were outside our house doing a repair on an electrical cable, not for me I might add just in the street. I was going outside and one of them said " Is there a cafe handy for a cuppa round here ?" and I was offering him directions when his mate said "No you're supposed to say I'll get the kettle on if you want a brew". I was so impressed I made them one.
