What I hate about the interwebs is the fact that if a new app or program comes out and gains popularity, in short order EVERYONE seems to have it.

 

For example:

 

Twitter

Facebook

Instagram

Whatsapp

Spotify

Grinder

 

Maybe I need to keep up:

 

Twitter - something that birds do?

Facebook - a portrait photo album?

Instagram - like a telegram?

Whatsapp - like the american 'whatsup' teenspeak?

Spotify - a remedy for acne?

Grinder - a machine for removing tree stumps?

 

 

Am I missing out on not knowing/needing all these things?

Out of those we do use Whatsapp quite a lot. If you're in WiFi you can send free text or call on the iPhone to other Whatsapp users.

Thats their choice & not yours, dosnt make them bad people, but some are rather stupid - when they announce to the world they are having a wonderful time in... etc & as stated above, provide minimum (dis)information.

 

However, most people are usually quite surprised by what can be gleaned from the Internet without any social media accounts at all, as all too often, privacy is abused.
