Gutless navara

It's been plugged in and showing no faults, I might take it into Nissan dealer and let them have a look, it's not that bad, just frustrating when towing!

 

Does sound same as what mine was for the sake of £8 try a fuel filter before anything else takes 2 minuets to change fill the new filter with diesel before putting it on and you don't need to bleed it

One broken Navara with nothing wrong with it is enough for me thank you. I'd look at the fuel filter though. They use this weird piped up canister one that seems to block up easily.

I ll change the filter this weekend, got given turbo for free off bloke I got it from so not too deep in the hole yet, £8 is a worthwhile gamble!

A rep friend of mine bought an 'ex demo' Navara for towing a flatbed trailer around picking up mowers and delivering demo's etc, first off it couldn't pull the skin of a rice pudd'n and secondly it blew the motor within about 3 months (rebuilt under warranty) so he got rid real quick after that !...

I've had an 05 plate navara for a few months and it's been gutless the whole time, can't hear Any turbo hiss, changed the boost sensor and turbo today still the same, thoughts please.

 

Hi john right is Wastegate ceased Half open half shut so you only get to get no boost also change the fuel filter and air filter text me over what the symptoms are on our last me engineering mate for you thanks John

Turbo !!!!! Who need's a Turbo ,get shut and keep it simple and buy a big daft Yank tank like my Ford F350 superduty Petrol with no Turbo . People laugh at me about fuel costs but it has never been near a garage in 8 years of me owning it and 150,000 later and can fit a compact tractor on it bed .. LOL
