Cheers for the great advice, I'm doing the job this weekend.

I've roped in my neighbours nephew to help.

He is a great lad, hasn't let the fact he only has one arm( lost it whilst cutting firewood and he took a fit), and walks with a limp after his ferret bit him, bother him,

He never complains but with his cleft lip, his lisp and his braces on his teeth, he's not great to understand at the best of times,

Already got other jobs lined up, this tree surgeon caper looks easy think i will go into it full time.

I will report back on Monday let you know how I get on.

Well it never rains but it pours! My motor ( a lada niva, cossack pick-up 3 wheel drive ) has failed its mot,

But fear not, my dad says we can use his mobility scooter and hook a shopping trolley on the two bar, so we are set again,

Denzil, the guy helping me I told you about, is going to take baler twine, to tie to the limbs to pull them down. And I don't have a harness, so ill just use my sons car seat, I couldn't remove the straps so I'll just tie the whole thing on my back with cable ties,

I really don't see how all those other supposedly professional tree surgeon s get away with charging so much.

Everyone in the village I stay in ( coulterfanny) thanks the same,

Got to go and price for maintaining the local bowling greens.
