I love my husky T li brought the brush cutter about three months ago and thats a fab bit of kit to.Love the reverse cutting feature for when your close to windows and the push of a button and away you go.I would have a lot of arm and elbow pain after using the petrol strimmer as the engine is to bulky which left my arm sat at an awkward angle i did loosen the bolts and turned the engine slightly away from me which helped.I 've got two batteries and that keeps me going for a days gardening and i can usually get plugged in somewhere for a quick top up if needed. As mentioned before they do have there limits and you still need a fuel setup.I was told you can use in a shower but after 30 plus years working in all weathers and now paying for it no longer work when wet.

Mines the Pillenic and I live in Scotland, never had any issues

we have the stihl msa200 battery saw where i work. had it for two years now and whilst it is an excellent tool there are problems using it in the rain.

the stihl battery is a "top fit"(see the catalogue illustration" and there is no cover for the battery compartment. water can and does go in to the battery compartment and the electrical contacts are in the bottom. i now use duct tape to seal the compartment once the battery is in and it works fine.

Love my battery husky for working over footpaths from the mewp as communication with the banksman is so easy even as your cutting. Couldn't cope without my 540 as well but the stealth saw suitably has its place. I quite fancy getting the back handled version for next to the chipper for that odd branch that needs cutting before going in as it's just a push of a button and cut rather than cold starting a normal saw for a 1 second cut.
