That just the ring though, I think you have to specify the rope combination.

So they're no the x-ring brand. Though clearly it's the same thing.

If I'm wrong fair enough.

I would go with 20mm for long dead eye strops for the pulley though, as Darin says you want the rope to be the week point.... I've barely used my 19mm line with the 16mm doing the bulk of work and feeling over kill at times.

Oh and a decent tag line,13- 14 mm so you can pull stuff about to get in a tight DZ if needed.

For the majority of rigging I use 12mm English braid with eye and long sling choked with a half hitch. A Pinto and 30kn sling with steel crab as a pin for crane and one for a redirect if needed. If I have a stem to take down I go to 16mm stable braid and yellow ISC block depending on size otherwise I just use the Pinto spliced onto a long tail. I rig off of the Stein 3000 bollard but wish I went for the 2000 in hindsight.

A friend of mine has the GCRS I would buy one if I had more use for it because it is a brilliant piece of kit.

Sorry for delay, I can confirm now that the maximum rope for the LD1 (with winch installed) is 14mm and for the LD2 16mm.
