Short version- made this for wife's nursery, they love it but think it's to scary for the tots, my fault got carried away and t'was a vague brief. They want another, more kiddie friendly, so need to shift this 7ft obstacle from my work space. Made from 6 * 3's, about £130 materials. How much? What sort of price would you expect to pay for this? Just interested in what y'all think and to see if I'm realistic or way off in my expectations. Fire wood? No offence will be taken. Thanks for looking/commenting.

That's really nice Rick, are they not paying for it then?

How many hours went into it and what are you happy charging per hr/day?

Add on your expensenses and you will hopefully be close to a fair price.

What's too scary? Is it the dragon?

One option would be to rework it, maybe replace the back and carve something else??

If you just want it gone you could try ebay, collection only.

Pricing such work is always difficult... it is easy to say multiply time x hourly rate + materials .costs etc but the "market " may pay more, or the price may be unachievable also marketing can be costly ... however I would of thought somewhere between 500 - 1000 should be possible if not, do not make another one !!! Look on sites like ETSY and NOTHS and E BAY and see things like wooden thrones and driftwood chairs etc to see what others are asking ... Good work though what wood have you used ?
