How can I get rid of Ground Elder, do I need to dig it out?

Round up, dig out, starve, freeze dehydrate, shoot, trap, snare all out the same time.

Dig down about 10 metres and fill in with roundup 480 conc

I've had ground elder for years at my place. Digging it out is slow and hard work, and if you leave even the smallest piece of root system in the ground, it'll regenerate in no time again. Best way I've found - strim, allow to grow, and spray the new growth with roundup biactive 450, mixed at 40:1, or a tad stronger if you like. Give it 10 or so days, and then you'll see the plants dying away. Works into the roots and does a good job.

SBK brush wood killer i eradicated in one from my brothers garden which is the only time i have had to deal with it worked a charm .....cheaper than round up as well

grazon 90 !! strim it down wait for the re growth 2-3 inch and spray may take 2-3 treatments don't dig till it's died off.

Apparently turfing over it is effective.
