Hi all anybody else having problems with the yellow and black menace called the wasp . Here in Cheshire I had to cancel a Felling job as loads of angry wasps about . Yesterday we removed a Eucalyptus tree and Leylandii and then went to trim the hedge but found more angry wasps . The little blighters are starting to play havoc with my workload . Gotta love em :mad1:

An acquaintance of mine was rushed to hospital yesterday due to a wasp sting, he'd gone into anaphyllactic shock in the garden, and collapsed just in front of his door. Talking to a pest controller, he cant keep up with the workload right now, has had to leave the rats to/ get on with it, as the wasp calls are taking all his time. Oh and watch out for those nasty European wasps, they are hardcore.

We had wasps and Hornets to cope with today. :scared1:

They were lapping up the fermenting sugar in the sap of the Willow we were reducing today.

Amazingly, not a sting amongst us :confused1:

Yes, Been helping the farmer clear brash dumped by a few ~other~ tree surgeons.

Well brash to me means brash, not a whole Eucalyptus Tree. The Wasps went wild over it. Anyway, he decided to sort it out with his tractor and get all the big stuff out for logs, Lucky me, as I pay my rent by providing him with a 20 ft container of logs and this was the last load to fill the container.

Have now got 2 stings right below my chest and on left arm, hurts like hell.
