201t been shoking latley tips on modding needed

its a 2012 model had it from new. When I first got it it had a habbit of cutting out but it stopped doing that after a couple of weeks and was great. Now its become really hard to start even when warm and when you do get it going thers not a lot of power there. Thinking the reg coates method of driving the truck over it would be appropriate sometimes

I'm a bit prejudiced, a few years ago I had a 200t that did the same, I took it to two dealers who charged me €180 each to no effect, they couldn't identify the problem and still took my money. So I had spent 2/3 of the price of a new 201, and still had a duff 'un.

All we want is a reliable well made top handle with good performance. Stihl hope your listening.

You are right of course . There is definately a cutoff point were its best to by a new one rather than keep chucking dosh at them .
