Has anyone else had problems with the front springs in their Canter 6.5’s. I’m now on my second set which is costing me valuable down time, not to mention £600 for an up-rated pair!

Mitsubishi said the old pair has been overloaded which I find it hard to believe. Its also odd that up-rated springs are available because if the O/E springs were fit for purpose there wouldn’t be any need for up-rated springs!?

Now I’ve already cut down on the Mars-bars and kit-Kats so it can’t be me – any ideas?? :confused1:

I used to have MG Midgets and had springs made-up for those many years ago. As soon as I sat my bum in the seat, the drivers side dropped and they were never level, it kind of put me off going down that road.

Just out of interest, do you know how much the truck weighs empty?

I’m off to a weighbridge as soon as we get it back, laden and un-laden – should make interesting reading!
