yeah, i saw that on tv and recorded them.

liked the metalworking one too.

i must say though that i thought he cheated a little bit with the seat as i thought he might have used an adze not an arbotech blade, but that's just me.

talented guy.

Yes , I saw this as well and really enjoyed it , however it did not really show the finished chair very well and seemed to skip over the very time consuming part of all the final shaping and sanding ( which would have been quite considerable ) and application of Oil and wax etc to be polished and buffed .Good stuff though !!! Been a lot of criticism about these 3 shows on another forum. A lot of folk think its more about the cameraman/director than the subject with a lot of long shots of totally irrelavent material being shown and jumping steps. More art than factual

watched it and enjoyed it

BUT... as a greenwood worker the arbotec was a little bit too far. powerdrill... ok, spindle-turner.. a bit much but old tech. but an adze would have been safer and not much slower. but eh knows his skills for sure

but as for the long arty shots... sheesh! i was sick of them after 5 minutes. typical BBC unfortunately. directors and producers seem more important than the content half the time.
