Wild guess 50hp! [emoji13]

 

There a good machine but it's the power loss on the hydraulic head that is poor, my carton 4012d is just as fast grinding and that's 34hp, and I used both back to back, the pred is narrow though and has a dozer blade, my next machine.

Ha! I should have known.

I'm not convinced by the hydraulic heads. Although I wonder if dean would convince me with a bandit. When it comes to getting a bigger grinder I'd be looking between bandit and Carlton I think.

Thanks, will keep it in mind to have a look when at the shows. Realistically it's going to be another 2-3 years before I'll be in the market for one. Dosent hurt to window shop though

Too right mate, our 4012d has only 300 hrs on and for what I would get for it it's worth keeping, just bought a pred 360 as our little dosco is getting tired.

The predator 38 rx, is good for me due to the tight spaces I can get to. I get 38 horse powers to most back gardens..

There is a lot of difference between brands, we have been selling our hydraulic units now for Four years & it has gone well, we sell as many grinders as chippers. I have a lot of happy customers who have swapped the competition for ours, it is usually when belts snap etc I get a call.
