Wow! I remember that machine. Yes it was a great little tool in early softwood thinnings. Tillhill bought one to use in some of the stands where I was working at that time. It could drive backwards holding each stick which then fell nicely. No more hangers!

A tracked Pro silva i think they have a UK agent now. It was a very good machine in the wet. Those pics were in a unfreezing swamp in March. Very nice machine basically a Timberjack 1270 with a few extra bits.

 

The second is their 4 wheel harvester. Something that has never really taken off here. I know their about mainly the Timberjack 870(?) but i'd of thought they would be great for all the smaller wood around the UK and the hardwood too. Guess a 1070 size machine can do more.

 

I have seen the walking JD machine too it lives out the back of a JD dealership in Tampere.
