Some footage from a recent job. The winch gives us some nice options here. Not a huge tree but a fragile situation. The home owner did a fine job boarding out his glass railings beforehand. Thats not normal. Great work from Alex and Dave on the ground.

Nice video, especially on the long laterals at 4.30ish

 

If you already have a 3001 can the winch element be purchased on its one and added to the device when required?

Nice trick with the slings on the hinge end of the tip roping.

From what I've seen of it jay you need a whole new 3001.

 

Think you might be right about only fitting in the newer rcw variant which is a shame. It says you need the rcw version on the stein website which is a shame as we have only used the 3001 a couple of times thus far

What length of line comes with the winch just out of curiosity?

Some nice advanced rigging applications there...really like the Stein bollards anyway so adding the winch makes it an even better product and affordable too...great Vid REG.
