Hi Martin can I ask what did you do for him then mate thanks Jon

hi jon,I was working for a plant hire company at the time and was hired with a 3cx to dig this hole for james may to finish up in after his car was blasted by Clarkson with a tank!

This was the 80's hot hatch special and this part was filmed at raf caerwent in s.wales a former us munitions depot.

JCB supplied a few machines in police livery to the bbc.

A good day with food supplied from caterers.

thanks,martin.

Pathetic it is how many of those key board warriors could find there way out of the street let alone to media city

They wouldn't be able to afford the fuel to get there having spent all their pocket money on alloy wheels and exhausts that make them sound like a distressingly flatulant heiffer.

I think it's laughable that there is so much fuss about it all. As I see it, somebody who can't control their temper has spat the dummy and physically assaulted another person because they didn't get what they wanted for dinner. There was a meal supplied and Clarkson, like myself, doesn't look to be in danger of starving even if one wasn't.Obviously completely unacceptable among adults and justifiably a sackable offence. Let's face it, hardly a 'fight or flight' situation. Pathetic behaviour really. :001_rolleyes:
