This was discussed on the Jeremy Vine show, a woman rang in, she was very none PC, but in some respects she did make some sense.

She was saying that basically men have been emasculated, that in the past working men would have a scuffle, then shake hands and share a few pints.

When I was 19 I worked on a building site in st micheals , one day in the brew room a old Irish guy took offence to something I said & so he smash a pint of milk over my head , I jumped up punched him back then Afew guy broke it up , we later shook hands everyone in the room kept quiet over it & the site agent didn't find out till nearly a year later , Neither of use went crying off to hospital / police whoever !!! Actually he's condemning clarkson's actions, as he said violence isn't his way of dealing with problems.

You were condoning violence.

If jeremy valued his job then this would not of happened either, but no what does he do he lamped the producer, knowing full well he is on his last warning, it seems to be it was all pre planned to quit the BBC for future riches with another organisation. . :001_rolleyes:

Hi Jon,

I think there are a lot of celebrities with troubled lives off camera & yes he may have been a bit of a berk, however what he does on camera is very entertaining & Im sure the show will appear on another channel soon
