Anyone use vented bags for seasoning, storage and delivery?

Agreed, the minimum order for most types is 50 but bag suppies is the best place we found.

I've found the multi filament ones don't stretch and given a little shake settle really well and stack 3 high with out staggering them.

Hi there, do you stack 3 high with each bag on its own pallet or just the bags on top of one another with a pallet at the bottom? cheers

No only stack with pallets as I'm not climbing bags to attach straps if one came down it would kill or make you.Heres an example but using diffrent bags the little counter balance is just used in the buildings and is ideal.

ok cheers, I did stack 3 high year before last, but Iam outside, went two high this year but looking like Iam gonna run out, thinking next year will go back to 3 high and, I like you use the pallets, cheers for the pic, wish I had more undercover, thinking poss tarp the top at this time of year as the moisture hangs around

I don't bother with pallets I do have a ladder but I find the bags don't move even when pulling on them to climb up. the few pallets in the pic were from first filling the tunnel I stopped with them after about 4 rows

I'm using the hiab on the delivery truck and just make the strap very short.

I've been considering using vented bags. Do you find the middle of the bags dry out fine, do u ever get any issues with mould and if I'm to use them, I was thinking of splitting into them in the spring, stacking them 3 high in a block outside where they will be in full sun alk day a just cover the tops. Then around August September time I'd then store them inside before the weather turns bad and wet. Does that plan sound like the right thing to do??
