Me:Who? !

 

Caller:Julie from the fire brigade press office. We're just wondering if you would be interested in supporting children in........

 

Me:You called me last year didn't you?

 

Caller:Not that I know of no!

 

Me: You based somewhere near scouse land and some of your oppo's speak with a scouse accent, selling advertising on firebrigade calenders??

 

Caller: Eerm no we're based in London

 

Me: Well last time the "FireBrigade" office called me I rung the fire brigade and they told me they dont have a press office and you are scammers

 

Caller: Clunk...........................................

 

Me: Hello...............hello................

 

 

beware chaps they are on their rounds again, not that any of you would be stupid enough to fall for helping children in need.....

 

These people are pratts that cost genuine charitys a lot of money in lost donations because of parasites like these, they use peoples guilt and soft sides to try and obtain money by deception

Back in March they tried it on with my son, he'd just started up literally that week. They said that they'd callled him 3 months previously and that he'd agreed to support some kids charity. He said he couldnt have done as he wasnt even a business then, they insisted he had and had recordings, he told them to go away (not quite so politely). Thieving scum.

I get these phone calls about every 3 months.after letting them rabbit on i just say fax me something with letterhead on it.never hear back.unfortunatly some of these tossers wont take no for an answer
