We removed a Lime tree in South East London this Monday just gone. The tree was behind residential and commercial properties. It was being removed as it was grown through the wall and the wall had to be demolished for a new dining area in the restaurant.

There was an asbestos roofed extension directly below the tree and lots of kebab type counters and catering equipment. Decided it was best to Speed line the tree away from the targets and make life easier for the ground staff. Conventional rigging would have been a painful process until we got to the trunk.

When the tree got too close to the wall for rigging I just sliced it and dropped the rings. The stump is being stump gound once the wall is out.

Thanks and hope you enjoy. Switch setting to HD and see if you spot the rats running about on the floor.

Nice job Rich, great camera angles, makes a very refreshing change.

I preferred Lynyrd Skynyrd before the brothers did their voiceover, like.

Nice vid mate, made me want to grow a pony tail.

It's a safety thing Joe.

He can splice it into a 50m line for emergency descent.

expertly done there Rich, quality dismantle in a very tight spot.

See the snatch type rigging on the main stem at the end, that's where I'd never use antal or x rings, they'd increase the risk of rope failure and decrease the rope's life expectancy re cycles to failure.

Tidy work rich.

Those last few snatches had me worried on the wall though!!

The insurance policy was the wall had to be demolished, so it wouldn't have been the end of the world. I just didn't want to start the process that day, leave it to the builders.:lol:
