Thats my new plan, fell tree and leave in huge pile in the garden, charge £800, tell customer to put it on gumtree and he'll make his money back!

 

I've offered this a few time, to those customers who keep telling me how much the timber from their tree is worth

Looking at the picture would you even break even if you sold that as logs. Forgetting for the moment the man hours needed to extract and process it. And tidy the mad cows garden afterwards haha

How much timber can you log guys buy in for £800?

Without needing to collect and then rake/blow/brush someone's garden.

 

I cant help thinking the natural forces of economics will solve this one.

800 nearly buys an artic load of timber in nice 3m lenghts and will fly through processor turn it into logs without lifting a log ....mm im tempted in spending 2 days in truck and another doing the job ...NOT:thumbup:
