I think its because us arborists always tend to load that extra bit on, I used to overload the tranny so brought 7.5 tonners and overload, whatever you have it always tends to be 'maxed' out!

 

Builders tend to use skips and have materials delivered on BIG trucks with handy lifty things!

 

I'v got a big truck with a handy lifty thing and i can still overload it!

rthe problem i have found with the cab star is that they do not carry as much chip and they are poo if you so much as park them on a grass verge they get stuck . plusthere is not enough room in the cab for 2 men let alone 3 and some wet weather gear

 

So is the cabstar project still on then Dave, or is it ditched for now?

nice , im thinking of one with sliding side doors so that if i need to i can chip into the side and maybe a tilting roof on gas struts but may still end up as a standard chip box , what sort of price you thinking of selling them for ?

 

Sorry I removed my post so yours now makes little sense. I thought it was derailing the thread so I'll start again on the chip box thread I started, but not until its finished will I know the final cost but it is mounting up!
